切削器具の毎患者様ごとの交換は標準化しています。以前の施設でも感心して使用していまして、現代の歯科医療にはなくてはならない機械が、DAC Universalです。
通常ハンドピース（いわゆる歯科医院でキ～ンと音のする器具）の洗浄は、洗浄オイルのみを圧搾空気もしくはスプレーガス圧でハンドピースに注入し、そのままオートクレーブ（高圧加熱滅菌）にかけるしかありませんでした。ハンドピース内の血液、体液の洗浄は十分といは言えませんでした。
しかしこのDAC Universalは、洗浄オイルの注入の前に、高圧の蒸留水でハンドピース内を洗浄する機能があります。これによりハンドピース内の停滞物はなくなり、、その上でオイル注入、高圧過熱滅菌が短時間で自動で行われるため、世界一厳しいとされるヨーロッパ基準に適合した内外をしっかりと洗浄、滅菌したハンドピースが毎治療ごとに提供することができるようになりました。
当院のハンドピースは安心して舐めることができます。
